“There is only one day left, always starting over: It is given to us at dawn and taken away from us at dusk.” –Jean-Paul Sartre
To me, this is a reminder each day is a new beginning. And, even more profound the new year brings yet another opportunity to start a fresh. Perhaps new resolutions for 2017?
I read somewhere there is a significance difference between a goal and a resolution. A goal is something specific you want to achieve. For example, lose 30 lbs in 2017 or run a marathon. These goals are specific and measurable.
A resolution is not as measurable like eat healthier or improve sleep habits. Personally, I have been working on eating healthier by cooking and I have a workout buddy so I am more accountable in my workouts. I think these are common resolutions for most of us.
Are you going to have a goal to achieve or resolutions for 2017? Or neither?
Cheers to 2017!
Hey Shari, I like the skyline photos. Is it possible to make them a bit smaller on the quote page as I have to scroll down to read your quote? I like the distinction between goal and resolution.
